LPM Coordinators are the persons who get a local LPM program going in a community. To provide the leadership needed to make a program successful, we have found that training by the LPM National Board is critical to the program's success. Training gives the tools, materials and information a coordinator will need.
The training is good for five years, after which coordinators need to be recertified to keep their training current. Certified coordinators are able to purchase the LPM curriculum at a considerable discount for their program.
In the past, the LPM National Board has offered multiple training opportunities over the summer. Alternately, when a local program has strong support in a community, board trainers have taken coordinator training to those persons who need it. Future possible options include training by conference call, or online. Planned coordinator and recertification training events will be publicized on this website, and by request as needed. Contact Ellen Johnston for more details.
